An exchange, similar to Betfair. The market depth at Betdaq is usually not as big as Betfair's, but they serve as an excellent supplement to them! Read more about exchanges and lay-betting here.

Being one of the biggest bookmaker in the world, Betfair stands almost in a league of its own. Together with Pinnacle, this is one book you will use the most when arbitrage betting. Betfair is an exchange which means that you place your bets at Betfair against other Betfair customers, not against Betfair itself. The odds at Betfair creates a lot of arb opportunities with other books. You pay a commission fee on all winnings, starting at 5%. The more you bet at Betfair, the lower your commission rate gets. Read more about Betfair, and especially lay-betting here.

Rated A+ at Sports Book Review, BetJamaica is a very reliable bookmaker that can accept big bets (especially in the US-sports markets). They are owned by TheGreek but with their own odds. BetJamaica is a good bookmaker to have in your arsenal, but as they do not have very much odds, the amount of arbs with them might be sparse at times. Update: BetJamaica has closed (July 23, 2011). Non-US account holders will have their BetJamaica accounts moved to parent sportsbook, TheGreek. US account holders will be moved to Heritage Sportsbook.

Reports that they have 450.000 customers from over 100 countries around the world. Adjusts their odds slowly which makes up for lots of arbitrage opportunities. Offers free spins in their Casino frequently. It has been reported that they have sometimes chosen to reject parts or all of the stake long after a bet was initially confirmed. This might be done without any notification which would indicate that the bet is up for review, making users finding themselves in an unwanted situation. We have however also gotten reports from our customers that hasn't seen this behaviour with Betsafe (we at RebelBetting have not seen this).

Bookmaker 'juice' table
At a single bookie, the odds of a specific event are calculated in such a way that the book always has a small edge. This edge is often known as the “juice” of the bookie. The bigger the edge the bookie has, the more they profit from the event and the more you lose in the long run.
